Serena Williams x Nike Continue Partnership With Air More Uptempo

A collaboration highlighting the tennis star’s apprenticeship program, Design Crew.

Serena Williams continues her Nike partnership with a new sneaker collaboration via her apprenticeship program Design Crew.

The tennis star has worked with the Swoosh for multiple years, with standout releases including the Off-White™ “QUEEN” collection and Air Force 1 LXX, on top of building her very own building at the footwear giant’s HQ. This time around, she’s spotlighting Design Crew with the Air More Uptempo, which is updated in the color theme “Dark Obsidian/Space Purple/Volt/Summit White.”

The upper of the shoe arrives with a denim-like material, which is contrasted with “Volt” throughout with topstitching details. Further accents are seen in “Space Purple” on labels and mini Swooshes, while “Summit White” balances out the look on the tongue and laces. Subtle frayed details are added to the “AIR” branding on each side for a slightly worn look.

Take a closer look at the kicks via the gallery above. The Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Air More Uptempo will release on February 1 with a $180 USD price tag.
