Nike Adds Interchangeable Charm Bracelets to Air Max 97
Joining the footwear giant’s “Be True” lineup.
Nike is expanding its gender inclusive “Be True” range with a new iteration of the Air Max 97 silhouette.
The popular model is updated with mesh frill detailing that decorates the upper in pastel blue, green, yellow and red, accompanying the leather and suede overlays. A black mini Swoosh is stitched onto the sides, with the lateral featuring an interchangeable charm bracelet spelling out “Be True.” Channeling Y2K nostalgia, the design is further branded at the heel while “Anthracite” soles complete the kicks. In contrast to the multi-colored elements, the tongue comes dressed in a minimal beige hue.
The sneakers arrive alongside news of Nike dropping an Air Bakin collaboration with Supreme while the footwear giant launches its awaited footwear and apparel collection with AMBUSH®.
