Wood Wood reinvigorates workwear for its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, looking to the lives of artists for inspiration.

Iconic art collector Peggy Guggenheim is the line’s North Star. “Every hour of the day is a miracle of light. In summer with daybreak, the rising sun produces such a tender magic on the water that it nearly breaks one’s heart,” she said of Venice.

Imagining long days of soul-searching and creative exploration by stretches of water, the Copenhagen-based label presents elevated utilitarian garments designed for the life of a bohemian spirit. Men’s matching sets arrive in a rich camouflage print, while denim jackets bear inventive tailoring, revealing a double layer of buttons upon closer inspection. Elsewhere, supple worn leather jackets provide warmth and shelter for off-road adventures, alongside wind-bracing trench coats and sleek bombers.

The collection is not without color as electric floral patterns enliven slightly sheer dresses and feminine head scarves, whereas a more psychedelic graphic paints a flowing frock, contrasted with motorcross-like stripes across the chest.

Wood Wood’s SS23 collection is available on the brand’s online store.
