Zendaya's Doll Lashes at the 2023 SAG Awards Were the Result of "Lash Pinching"
It’s giving Twiggy realness.
When Zendaya makes a red carpet appearance, you’d better believe there will be an instant hair or makeup trend-worthy moment to follow. For the 2023 SAG Awards, her current chunky bob turned heads, but it was the “pinched” lower lash debut that channeled the likes of the icon that is Twiggy which made our hearts palpitate.
What sets Zendaya apart in the glam department is that for each major red carpet, she will pay homage to one of the great’s fashion or beauty moments. For the 2021 BET Awards, she bowed down to Queen Bey with a shortened version of her Spring/Summer 2003 Versace dress. For the 2023 NAACP Awards, she wore a vintage Spring/Summer 2002 Versace gown that was worn by model Karolina Kurkova.
For the “pinched” lash effect, we’re not sure if it was the work of a clumpy mascara or if Zendaya’s team used falsies.
