Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj‘s “Beauty and a Beat” has achieved its largest-ever streaming day on Spotify since the song’s release in 2012 as part of his Believe album.
Chart Data reported, “@justinbieber and @NICKIMINAJ’s ‘Beauty and a Beat’ earns its biggest streaming day of all-time on Spotify, 11 years after release (485K).”
Most likely, the drama between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez that has taken over the internet recently could have helped the sudden resurgence in streaming numbers. After all, the song has one famous line referencing Justin and Selena’s past relationship. In one of the verses, Nicki sings, “Buns out, weiner/ But I gotta keep an eye out for Selener.”
“Beauty and a Beat” isn’t the only track getting attention amid the Hailey and Selena drama. As of recently, fans have been speculating that Taylor Swift‘s “Question…?” off her Midnights album was written about Selena and Justin. Fans theorize it’s Taylor’s way of interrogating her best friend’s ex since the track is written in third-person.
