Fans Are Theorizing That This Taylor Swift Song Is About Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez

Amid all the recent online drama between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber, fans have made a few realizations. Many believe that Taylor Swift‘s song “Question…?” off of her Midnights album is about Selena and her ex Justin Bieber.
A recent TikTok video addressed the speculation, stating that Swift’s song is about the former couple’s relationship. “Y’all talking about the Selena/Hailey drama, forget[ing that] Taylor already wrote a song about it,” TikTok user @hey_itsruthy wrote.
In the song, Taylor sings, “Did you leave her house in the middle of the night? (Oh) /Did you wish you’d put up more of a fight? (Oh)/ When she said it was too much/ Do you wish you could still touch her?/ It’s just a question.” Fans seem to believe that because it’s written in third-person, this could be her way of interrogating her friend’s ex, in this case Selena’s ex Justin.
Taylor also sings, “Can I ask you a question? Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room/ And every single one of your friends was making fun of you/ But 15 seconds later they were clapping too? Then what did you do?”
When it comes to the line about being kissed “in a crowded room,” many theorize it is about the time Selena and Justin kissed backstage at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards; Taylor made a disapproving face. Shortly after, Selena performed on stage, which could be a reference to Taylor “clapping” for her.
