Fear of God Debuts adidas Sneaker Collaboration on the Runway
Arriving in two grey-toned colorways.
After a long and fruitful relationship with Nike, founder Jerry Lorenzo has officially taken the next steps with Fear of God‘s adidas partnership, debuting the duo’s inaugural partnership on the runway.
Taking place at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Fear of God’s debut showcase saw a multitude of vibrant silhouettes and apparel pieces, but what piqued the crowd’s interest the most, was the new sneaker collaboration that we’ve all been waiting for.
Arriving in a mid-cut silhouette, the new sneakers feature breathable, sock-inspired uppers complete with side cages shaped to represent adidas’ signature three-stripe branding. The silhouette also boasts a functional pull cord in front of its tongue, allowing the wearer to tighten the fit around their ankles if necessary. Rounding out the design are pleated toe boxes and flushed sole units, complete with grayscale branding.
Take a closer look at the collaborative kicks above, first teased in “Black/Grey” and “White/Grey” colorways, and stay tuned for more info regarding their release date.
