Netflix Releases BDSM-Thriller 'Obsession' With Immersive Erotic Experience in Soho
Diving into the world of Anna’s red leather-bound sex diary.
Alongside the Obsession series launch, Netflix taps its sex-positive roots and opens an immersive erotic boutique in London.
Located in the heart of Soho, the immersive experience simulates the seductive feel of the series. As an adaptation of Josephine Hart’s Damage, the series follows “an intense affair between a talented surgeon (played by Richard Armitage) and his son’s fiancée (played by Charlie Murphy).” The affair “spirals into a dangerous, all-consuming obsession,” and taps the world of BDSM as main character Anna reveals her red leather-bound diary to her lover, William.

“The erotic boutique will be an immersive experience bringing visitors into Anna’s world of play,” reads the exclusive press release, “whilst inviting them to give up their own secret anonymously in ‘Anna’s diary’.” Playing on the theme of sex and power dynamics, all guests will “be rewarded.” In exchange for participating, “they will be rewarded with a luxury product available within the boutique.” You can also submit your sex confessions here.
