Snow Peak and Chaco have once again joined forces for a Lowdown Slide silhouette. While Snow Peak is renowned for its high-quality camping gear, apparel and home goods, it occasionally ventures into the footwear sphere through exciting collaborations. As summer approaches, a time when outdoor activities like hiking and beach adventures are in full swing, the Japanese label is reconnecting with Chaco to bring this latest creation to life.
These two brands previously collaborated in 2020 for the Z Cloud X Sandal, which boasted playful colors. However, the Lowdown Slide takes a more understated approach in its design. Drawing inspiration from Snow Peak’s signature logo, the slides exude a sleek and minimalist aesthetic. They are 40% lighter than Chaco’s classic Z sandals and feature Chaco’s renowned LUVSEAT arch support system, ensuring optimal comfort and support. The slides’ footbeds, treading and straps are elegantly adorned in black, while the upper build’s webbing showcases repetitive Snow Peak branding.
Priced at $100 USD, the Lowdown Slide collaboration is now available in both men’s and women’s sizes on the Chaco and Snow Peak websites.
