Why Am I Influenced by Hailey Bieber’s "Creamsicle" American Manicure?
Could this over take the “Glazed Donut” moment?
If nothing else, Hailey Bieber is going to provide the masses with nail trend inspo — love it or hate it. Last year, we were all captivated by her “Glazed Donut” nails that was the work of celeb manicurist Zola Ganzorigt. For summer 2023, we’re getting into her “Creamsicle” manicure moment.
Bieber posted a series of photos to her Instagram and in her fifth slide, we couldn’t help but notice that she opted for the viral American Manicure trend, which further popped off her “Creamsicle” nails. For those of you who are not familiar with an American manicure, it is the buzzy alternative to the classic French manicure. The main difference is that it features a contrasting tip that blends in with the base color, as opposed to French, which has a defined line.
However, leave it to the Beebs to elevate the trend and put her own spin on it. Instead of a traditional white shade, she went for the most decadent soft butter shade that appeared on her as a chic yet fun approach. While I only wear clear, red or white nail polish, I’m influenced to try the American manicure the Hailey Bieber way.
