Take an Official Look at the Stone Island x New Balance Tokyo Design Studio FuelCell C_1
A silhouette embodying the dedication to innovation and craftsmanship at the core of both brands.
New Balance Tokyo Design Studio has built a reputation for creating groundbreaking sneaker silhouettes through daring collaborations. Their latest endeavor unites them with the renowned Italian luxury brand, Stone Island, to revolutionize the FuelCell C_1 model and redefine the essence of functional footwear.
Stone Island’s expertise in experimental fabrics takes center stage as the FuelCell C_1 undergoes a conceptual makeover. The uppers feature a unique knit fabric blend, combining synthetic and organic cotton materials. The midsole seamlessly integrates FuelCell technology with a carbon fiber plate for top-notch performance.
Inspired by the iconic ’90s Stone Island jackets, the silhouette boasts an earthy beige and light gray upper, accentuated by a digitalized camo pattern artfully dispersed across toe boxes and side walls. For enhanced practicality, the kicks are equipped with a quick lace toggle system, ensuring a comfortable fit. The motion New Balance logo is embroidered into the forefoot and toe boxes, while raised Stone Island logos are prominently displayed on the heel molds, blending with the semi-chunky, FuelCell-loaded bottoms.
The Stone Island x New Balance Tokyo Design Studio FuelCell C_1 will be available starting July 25 via Stone Island, followed by New Balance on July 28. Moreover, this exclusive sneaker will also be offered by HBX.
