Yara Shahidi Tapped To Be the Face of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Upcoming "Divine" Fragrance

Yara Shahidi has been tapped to be the face of Jean Paul Gaultier‘s upcoming fragrance, “Gaultier Divine.”
Set to launch in August, the Black-ish star will front the new perfume — bridging the gap for a new generational influx of the Gaultier consumer. “What I love about how they built out the campaign is that everyone involved not only has a presence in the fashion world but has a presence socially, in carving out spaces for people to feel more authentically themselves,” Shahidi told WWD. “The other women in the commercial are all people I admire out in the world.”
Created by master perfumer Quintin Bisch, “Gaultier Divine” is a floral, gourmand marine scent with complementing white flowers, lily, and merengue notes to bring out a decadent salty sea breeze. The new fragrance will start at $90 USD for 30 mL and go up to $160 USD for 100 mL.
