Bebe Rexha Dons Revenge Dress After Fat-Shaming Fiasco

“Look at my ass!”

Bebe Rexha arrives at the MTV VMA’s in a tantalizing revenge dress.

Rexha and ex-boyfriend Keyan Sayfari broke the internet in July of 2023 after Rexha revealed texts of him fat shaming and patronizing her weight gain. Shortly after — a slew of think pieces — the couple announced their split and until the MTV VMA’s, Rexha has remained quite tame, focusing solely on performances. However, the “I’m Good” artist appeared bolder than ever as she introduced rock band, Fall Out Boy, last night.

“Look at my ass!” she exclaimed as she turned around and revealed her exposed bum. The leather dress, designed by The Uncommist, leaves nothing to the imagination with large cut outs on each cheek. Contrary to what fat and slut shamers may think, the tantalizing look makes a strong case for an update to the “revenge dress” silhouette, first popularized by Princess Diana after leaving the salacious King Charles.

According to Rexha, she almost skipped the ceremony due to public concern over her weight. Instead, she chose to revel in the commentary — with her ass out.

In a former interview, The Uncommonist founder stated “By following rules, limitations are created – I want people wearing my designs to be fearless and unbothered by a passer-by’s opinion.” Ironically, the dress was formerly worn by former dominatrix Julia Fox.
