Holzweiler Celebrates Norweigan Life for SS25
Transporting us to the island of Krøttøya.
As we gear up for the start of the festive season, Holzweiler is looking ahead to Spring/Summer 2025. Launching its new SS25 campaign, dubbed “Memories,” the new release acts as a meaningful homecoming for the brand, celebrating its Norwegian roots. Transporting us to the remote island of Krøttøya, the campaign celebrates its fishing heritage and vibrant aesthetic.
“We wanted to evoke the energy of two young people returning to this island—perhaps to visit their childhood home or connect with their grandparents. It’s about exploring the echoes of the past and the memories that shape us, all while embracing the vibrant energy of the present,” explains creative director Maria Skappel-Holzweiler.
“At a time when the world feels increasingly uniform, we wanted to highlight the richness of our Norwegian identity and the warmth of our culture,” Skappel continues.
Comprising chunky argyle knits in hues of grey and “Periwinkle Blue,” the collection also features shades of warm “Butter Yellow,” blending sportswear-inspired detailing with a casual aesthetic made for effortless layering. Flannel shirts mimic the rugged charm of island life, while crochet midi dresses add an elevated touch to the collection.
