Our Favorite Collaborations from Fashion Month SS25
From Cecilie Bahnsen and The North Face to Stella McCartney and adidas.
There’s a reason we saw the controversial New Balance snoafer on the runway at Fashion Week first. Arriving in collaboration form with Junya Watanabe, the divisive silhouette made its debut at the brand’s Fall/Winter 2024 show in Paris — generating hype, gauging a reaction most importantly: offering the brand an opportunity to analyze its potential before it even released.
Fashion week is full of opportunities. For influencers and content creators, it’s a place to show off their street style. For fashion writers and buyers, it’s a place to get inspired. But for brands and designers? It’s a place to debut not only new collections but also to tease and preview new collaborations, testing their viral potential and audience interaction.
As a result, the fashion week circuit has become an intrinsic part of the collaboration roll-out plan, often playing host to new team-ups and partnerships. This Spring/Summer 2025 season was no different, and even just halfway through, we’ve spotted a tonne of major team-ups that we’re already obsessed with.
From BIMBA Y LOLA and Palomo Spain at New York Fashion Week to part three of Simone Rocha‘s Crocs takeover in London and AVAVAV in Milan, there are plenty of collabs to add to your wish lists, with plenty more debuting at Paris Fashion Week.
BIMBA Y LOLA x Palomo Spain
Simone Rocha x Crocs
Nensi Dojaka x Calvin Klein
Ancuta Sarca x Clark’s Originals and Ancuta Sarca x Crocs
Chopova Lowena x ASICS
MAINS x Kickers
Sinead Gorey x Converse
MM6 Maison Margiela x Dr. Martens
MM6 Maison Margiela debuted a new Dr. Martens collaboration at Milan Fashion Week, taking over the brand’s signature 1460 8-eyelet boots with a hand-painted white colorway. Designed to match a range of MM6’s hand-painted garments from the collection, the new boot appears dipped in the chalky white paint, visibly peeling off around the outsole and laces for an aged aesthetic.
AVAVAV x adidas Originals
Similarly, AVAVAV’s SS25 show in Milan saw a new adidas Originals collaboration make its runway debut, featuring shrunken three-stripe hoodies, upcycled bags and shorts alongside an optical illusion look that saw a model’s body hand-painted with a red adidas track jacket. That one likely won’t make it to the stockists…
Cecilie Bahnsen x The North Face
Aside from the Danish designer’s ongoing relationship with ASICS, it appears Cecilie Bahnsen took Paris Fashion Week as an opportunity to debut something entirely new and unexpected: a collaboration with The North Face. Bahnsen teamed up with the outdoor pioneers for a gorpcore-inspired ready-to-wear and accessories collection, adorned with her signature femininity. “We decided from the beginning that we wanted to go extremely tech, so we took a very futuristic approach to our outerwear,” Bahnsen said of the collaboration. “These pieces have all of the utilitarian details – waterproofing, protective layers, durability — but they are still super feminine. We just got to really nerd out on what we love.”
ECCO.Kollektive x Ottolinger
SS25 saw Ottolinger collaborating with ECCO.Kollektive, leaning into working with leather for the first time. Taking inspiration from Dadaism, the absurdist art movement, the collaboration saw the brand take over ECCO.Kollektive’s “Joke” silhouette in wedge heel form. Arriving as exaggerated silhouettes in matte textures, the new shoes arrived in hues of black, silver and “barely pink.”
adidas x Stella McCartney
Stella McCartney also debuted its latest team-up on the runway, presenting the unisex Rasant trainer, created in collaboration with adidas. A new, high-top silhouette, the sneaker is crafted from vegan materials and takes inspiration from vintage racing shoes. Taking its name from the German word for “rapid,” the silhouette also references the adidas Monza sneaker, prevalent in the late 1970s and ’80s.
Swarovski x Coperni
Coperni’s Disneyland showcase was a viral moment for many reasons, but one of the more subtle is its collaboration with Swarovski. Unveiled during “Act 3” of the show aka “The Princess Transformation, “a mini Swarovski Swipe Bag was debuted, aiming to recreate Cinderella’s glass slipper. The result of 110 hours of production, completed mostly by hand by Swarovski specialists, it’s probably one of the most intricate collaborations we’ve spotted this season.
