Karoline Vitto Wins Our Inclusivity Award at LFW

The brand’s pieces extend to size US 24.

Over the years, London Fashion Week has seen its share of trailblazers when it comes to inclusivity but this season, Karoline Vitto has set a new standard, pushing boundaries further than ever before. Vitto’s vision transcended beyond size inclusivity to encompass age and ethnic diversity, truly reflecting the rich variety of women in society. While this level of representation should be the norm, Vitto stands out as the lone designer who is ‘doing God’s work’ on the runway.

Her Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “Undertide,” was a breathtaking ode to transformation, turning models into ethereal goddesses rising from the ocean’s depths. With sleek, wet-look hair and dewy makeup, the models embodied the allure of water, bringing a fresh and mesmerizing energy to the runway.

WHO: Staying true to her ethos, the Brazilian designer delivered a casting lineup that championed diversity in every sense. From the ’90s model, Angellika Morton who broke ground by transitioning to plus-size modeling in 1997, to the striking New York-based makeup artist Raissa Flowers, who closed the show with her undeniable presence, Vitto showcased an impressive range. She even broke the mold when it came to height inclusivity, featuring the ethereal musician Tsunaina, who, standing at just five-foot-five, commanded the runway with grace. Vitto truly proved that beauty knows no bounds.

SEE: “Undertide” captivated with its stunning display of draped dresses that sensuously revealed and concealed the body’s contours. Flowing floor-length maxi skirts rippled gracefully with each step, the fabric held delicately by sleek silver metal straps accentuating the waist, back and hips. The earthy palette — rich browns, blacks, nudes and whites — exuded timeless elegance, making these show-stopping pieces perfect for transitioning seamlessly from a warm spring day to a sultry summer night. For those craving a bold pop of color, Vitto introduced eye-catching bursts of bright red, royal blue and magenta pink.

What sets these designs apart is not just the aesthetic but also functionality. The metal closures are both water-resistant and bendable, allowing each piece to adjust perfectly to any body shape-proof that Vitto has thought of every detail.

To elevate the collection further, Karoline Vitto teamed up with shoe brand Tabitha Ringwood, known for its exquisite craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability. One standout from this collaboration is the “Metal Drape Boot,” featuring Vitto’s signature metal rings and a striking square cutout — an avant-garde masterpiece that perfectly mirrors the designer’s ethos.

HEAR: The soundtrack was pure electronica, pulsing with a Brazilian-inspired drum beat that set the perfect rhythm for a slay summer.

TOUCH: Soft cottons and as promised, plenty of draping. Flowing, slung and effortlessly movable fabrics defined the collection. A Karoline Vitto piece allows you to dance the night away, free from the constraints of traditional tailoring, while looking effortlessly chic.

TASTE: The inspo board for your ultimate summer, obviously. With hooded dresses and draped long skirts, you’ll be looking stunning while also feeling effortlessly comfortable and ready to turn heads at every occasion.
