PUMA's "Mostro" Goes Monochromatic
In two new colorways of “Vapor Gray” and “Frosted Ivory.”
Can we all agree that PUMA has been on fire this year? With a flurry of exciting collaborations and fresh releases, like the “Creeper Phatty” with FENTY and recent Collina Strada capsule collection, the footwear brand is clearly making waves and shows no signs of slowing down.
Earlier this year, PUMA delved into its archives and resurrected its “Mostro” shoe. First launched in 1999, during a time when technology was advancing rapidly and futuristic designs were all the rage, this shoe perfectly captures that era’s essence. Its spiked rubber sole and distinctive suede blend showcase the innovative, sci-fi-inspired aesthetics that defined the period, and this year, it came back in a big way.
Fresh off the back of its recent Aries collaboration, PUMA has re-launched the “Mostro” in two colorways, “Vapor Gray” and “Frosted Ivory.” Combined with a technical ripstop material on the upper, the shoe results in a tech and gorp-core hybrid piece.
The new “Mostro” is available from September 21 at selected retailers worldwide. Click the gallery to get your first look at the new colorways.
