Onitsuka Tiger's New Fragrances Are Your Favorite Shoes in a Bottle
The brand just debuted a collection of perfumes.
Japanese fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger has just unveiled its first-ever collection of perfumes. With the theme “Wearing Quiet Radiance,” the four new scents are inspired by Onitsuka Tiger’s affinity for contemporary design coupled with ancient tradition.
Similar to Onitsuka Tiger’s cult-favorite shoes, the new perfumes epitomize the polarity the brand has become synonymous with. When conceptualizing the scents, perfumer Mark Buxton referenced both traditional British simplicity and classic French perfume practices. Crafted in France, “ONITSUKA TIGER ONE,” “ONITSUKA TIGER TWO, “ONITSUKA TIGER THREE” and “ONITSUKA TIGER FOUR” harp on earthy notes and the elements the brand says have defined its legacy.
The first scent of the collection is described as “multi-dimensional radiance,” thanks to citrusy lemon and mandarin along with gentle floral touches of jasmine. Next, “ONITSUKA TIGER TWO” is a powdery musk, with notes of bergamot oil, ambery woods and sandalwood. The third fragrance in the collection is said to be warm and spicy with angelica root oil, while violet and sea accords. Lastly, “ONITSUKA TIGER FOUR” is crisp and intense given its notes of absinthe, nutmeg and vanilla.
The perfumes are now available for purchase at the brand’s retail stores.
