Lil Wayne's Go-To Fix to Help Hurt Feelings? Moisturizer From Cetaphil

The rapper made his mark on the Super Bowl in an ad titled “We’re All a Lil Sensitive” while alluding to a new album release.

Beauty is going all in on sports and now it seems the music world is joining the action, too. The most hilarious Super Bowl ad came courtesy of Cetaphil, who teamed up with Lil Wayne for a clever commercial. In it, the rapper uses Cetaphil products to smooth over moments of hurt feelings, blending humor with skincare in a way only Weezy could pull off.

Titled “We’re All a Lil Sensitive,” Cetaphil and Lil Wayne come together to let us know that while we know times of hurt will occur in time, at least our skin is taken care of with the brand’s soothing and gentle products.

“When Cetaphil learned that Lil Wayne would not be performing the halftime show in his hometown, they recognized a universal truth,” the brand said in a press statement. “Disappointment is inevitable. Sensitivity is universal. But true strength lies in how we respond.”

At the end of the advertisement, the rapper is asked if he still wants to attend the Super Bowl and he responds with a “No, this is time-sensitive,” as a door closes. On said door, there is a piece of tape that reads Carter VI, alluding to a possible new album release coming soon.
