Named Collective Says Love Is Overrated, "BAD ROMANCE" Is Forever

The brand’s Valentine’s Day collection features lace, ribbons, ruffles and its “craziest hoodie to date.”

Named Collective is doing Valentine’s Day differently. The brand’s latest 11-piece collection, “BAD ROMANCE” plays with seduction while staying true to its signature grunge-meets-streetwear aesthetic.

The pieces follow a black and pink color theme and are full of lace, ribbon and dark romance. At the heart of the collection is what Named Collective calls its “craziest hoodie to date” — the VALENTINES RUFFLE ZIP HOODIE. Available in those two shades, this piece is drenched in cascading lace ruffles, adding a flirtatious touch to an everyday essential. Picture it paired with ruffle bloomers and knee-high socks — it’s adorable with just the right amount of attitude.

For those who love a sleek silhouette, the matching fitted hoodie and pants offer a sultry take on streetwear, featuring lace cut-outs running down the arms and legs, delicately threaded with black ribbons. If an oversized fit is more your style, then you’ll love the classic baggy tracksuit which, for this collection, gets a romantic upgrade with ruffled detailing and silver eyelets along the pockets.

Lastly, the bikini set includes a triangle top and bottoms, which are adorned with tiny ribbon details and gritty graphic prints on the bra. The bottoms feature dainty ribbons on the front, proving that the brand doesn’t miss a single detail when it comes to flirty-meets-grunge styling.

Named Collective’s “BAD ROMANCE” collection is available for purchase on the brand’s official website.
