Nike and SKIMS Just Announced a New Collaborative Brand

“Inviting more athletes and women into the world of sport and movement.”

Since its inception, SKIMS has dipped its toe into the world of sport, featuring athletes in its campaigns and launching partnerships with Team USA and the WNBA. Now, it’s taking its affinity for athletes one step further by launching an all-new brand with Nike.

Designed to deliver “industry-leading innovation,” the new NikeSKIMS partnership offers a full product line with the aim of inviting “more athletes and women into the world of sport and movement.” Launching this Spring, the first collection blends Nike’s expertise in innovation and sport science with SKIMS’ commitment to supporting the female form, resulting in a shared vision that celebrates both elite and everyday athletes.

“We’re energized by the opportunity to build a new brand and shake things up for the next generation of athletes with NikeSKIMS.,” said Heidi O’Neill, President of Consumer, Product & Brand, Nike, Inc. “This partnership brings together the best of both brands and unlocks an incredible opportunity to disrupt the industry with our shared passion and commitment to innovation. We will invite even more athletes* into sport and movement with product that makes them feel strong and sexy,” she adds.

Echoing that excitement is SKIMS co-founder Kim Kardashian, who says “Nike and SKIMS share a deep commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and pushing boundaries, driven by an unwavering belief in the power of women. This partnership is the culmination of that shared vision, delivering product that is meticulously designed to sculpt and perform for every body. Every single detail has been obsessed over and carefully considered. We’re incredibly excited to unveil our first collection this Spring.”

At present, little is known about what the collection will include, but it’s set to cover apparel, footwear and accessories, each designed to meet the needs of its athletes. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
