Holzweiler Goes Arctic with Its FW25 Collection

Marking the brand’s first-ever venture into technical ski wear.

For Holzweiler‘s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, the brand takes a deep dive into its cultural heritage, drawing inspiration from the raw, snowy beauty of Norway’s arctic landscapes. Titled “Winter Wonderland,” the brand’s first-ever technical ski capsule combines performance with style.

Creative director Maria Skappel Holzweiler masterfully channels the vintage appeal of ’60s alpine fashion while capturing the playful energy of ’80s ski ballet. She blends the timeless glamour of faux fur, pearl accents and oversized eyewear with modern ski wear. A key highlight from the collection is the limited-edition collaboration with Sweet Protection, an award-winning Norwegian brand known for its advanced engineering. This partnership delivers high-performance helmets and goggles that merge safety with sleek design.

“Winter Wonderland” features a range of technical pieces like waterproof jackets, trousers and thermal layers in sophisticated shades of cream, chocolate and black. These garments offer top-tier protection for the slopes, yet their versatile design allows them to easily transition into everyday wear. Holzweiler stays true to its DNA of functionality, incorporating thoughtful details such as adjustable drawstrings and pleats for maximum comfort and movement, ensuring each piece works seamlessly both on and off the mountain.
