Callum Turner Debuts the New LV BUTTERSOFT Sneaker
The British actor continues his relationship with Louis Vuitton in an all-new campaign.
Fresh off the back of Dua Lipa’s official engagement announcement, British actor Callum Turner is making a splash with Louis Vuitton. Debuting the latest installment of the LV BUTTERSOFT Sneaker, created by men’s creative director Pharrell Williams, Turner stars in the new campaign.
The new sneaker was first teased on the runway as part of the Fall/Winter 2025 showcase, blending traditional retro running styles with an elevated dandyism. Landing in 24 different variations, the shoe is crafted by Italian artisans of Louis Vuitton and features a super-soft, buttery leather with a padded pillow effect. Set on a classic rubber sole, the sneaker is elevated with “enchape” patches and, for a few of them, features hand-painted new Bruni edges.
Completing the design is an LV logo on the side of the shoe’s upper, along with a “Phriendship” silhouette of Williams’ face on the tongue. Designed to represent the evolution of the leather sneaker and its adaptation into the realm of sportswear, the shoe also takes inspiration from the styles worn by the hip-hop community in the early 2000s.
