The 'Wednesday' S2 Plot Twist? Criminal

We need to talk about *that* episode.

Season 2 of Wednesday premieres on Netflix with a jaw-dropping plot twist in Episode 4. Here’s what we know about Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) fate.

This post contains spoilers.

At the end of Episode 4, Wednesday shares a monologue: “I’ve always dreamed of looking death in the face. But in my final moments, all I hear is my mother’s words ringing in my ears. Maybe I have made everything worse. Much worse.”

Ultimately, Doohan shares, “Tyler might have killed Wednesday; he throws her out a window and makes his escape. It leaves Wednesday with an uncertain fate — and also a lot of new threats if she does wake up.”

Showrunner Miles Millar remembers his first thought when he saw the height of Wednesday’s impending fall. “We talked about that scene a lot… I remember standing outside the location and looking at the window, saying, ‘That’s really, really high.’”

According to Netflix’s Tudum and Hunter Dooham, who plays Tyler, “Fans have a lot to look forward to in the second half of the season.” Wednesday show runner Alfred Gough adds, “The mysteries of Willow Hill definitely carry over into Part 2.”

Stay tuned for Part 2 streaming on September 2, 2025.

In other news, A$AP Rocky was spotted in a new A24 movie trailer. Elsewhere, Lady Gaga leads MTV VMAs nominations.
