Cou Cou Takes Us Back To Where It All Started For SS26
With a campaign shot in the English countryside.
Gen Z’s favorite intimates brand, Cou Cou, unveiled its Summer 2026 campaign, and it’s a gorgeous ode to nostalgic girlhood with a hint of rebellion. Set against a backdrop of the English countryside, founder Rose Colcord takes us back to where it all began, where she first conceptualized the brand.
“Looking back now, it feels almost impossible to separate the landscape from the brand itself. It was here that I began imagining a different way of being and a new philosophy of femininity and freedom: a brand that honored the truth of our female, embodied experience,” shared Colcord.
Lensed by Lauren Leekley and featuring models Alana Champion, Noor Mutsaers and Rachelle Harris, we see the collection materialize through a dreamy set of images. The capsule leads with the arrival of French Blossom, representing the brand’s debut print on cotton voile fabric. The delicate vintage-style florals appear on two fresh garment shapes: the scoop-neck Jardin Dress and the shorter Jardin Mini, which are finished with romantic bodices and French lace borders. Core brand favorites like the Iris Slip and Iris Tank also return, constructed from a lightweight, hypoallergenic organic cotton voile. This is exactly what we imagine the moodboards of French New Wave cinema to look like and the inside of Jane Birkin’s wardrobe.
You can also expect successive summer drops rolling out across June and July, and yes, this will include the now cult favorite Rina top in new colorways, spotted on everyone from Sabrina Carpenter to Kaia Gerber. Cou Cou expertly channels that summer feeling of running barefoot through meadows, reading a book in the long grass, daydreaming and simply existing, and this is exactly what we want to be doing this summer.
The collection is now available on the brand’s website and at its New York pop-up, which runs until June 20.
