The Weeknd's XO Teams up with PUMA for a FW18 Collection That Celebrates the '90s

Featuring The Weeknd’s first-ever low-top sneaker design.

Ever since their inaugural collaboration first debuted back in 2017, sportswear giant PUMA and The Weeknd‘s XO line have continued to launch a string of must-cop collections. For the first drop of their latest Fall/Winter 2018 partnership, the two brands look back to the ’90s for a celebration of all things nostalgic. With the program dubbed “Homage to the Archive,” you can be sure that the offering will be filled to the brim with vintage-inspired street style. Laced with contemporary aesthetics, the resulting arrivals strike a perfect balance between the old and new.

Utilizing dual-branded PUMA x XO graphics and logos throughout, retro silhouettes and bold color blocking palettes are brought to the forefront. Drop 1 also marks the first time that The Weeknd will be introducing a low-top sneaker: the PUMA x XO Terrain. Constructed with luxe tumbled leather and suede overlays on the upper, the silhouette is further exaggerated with jagged teeth in the midfoot section. Rounding off the collection is an array of apparel and accessories such as bomber jackets, track pants, tees, crewneck sweaters, a beanie and a backpack.

The first drop of the PUMA x XO FW18 collection is slated to drop on October 13 at puma.com, as well as in-store at PUMA locations and select global stockists. You can take a look at the official lookbook in the gallery above.
