adidas Originals and Danielle Cathari's Collaboration Hits the Streets of New York Fashion Week

Restocked and reimagined in new colorways.

adidas Original’s and Daniëlle Cathari have come together for the next chapter of their ongoing collaboration for Spring/Summer 2019 at New York Fashion Week. Using the original street-cast models from the Fall/Winter 2018 presentation, the collaboration continues to explore the deconstruction of the classic adidas tracksuit using innovative techniques, new materials, and exaggerated proportions. The second phase brings three new colors of the instantly sold-out tracksuits in beige and denims, as well as a restock of the highly coveted original collection. Cathari also introduces her take on the classic tracksuits in jewel tones of green, navy and red. Each piece is a meticulous exploration of the adidas archive, including washed denim which was studied to create unexpected silhouettes.

“Working with adidas Originals has been more interesting, inspirational and education than I ever could have predicted when I first received an Instagram direct message from the design team. We’ve come a long way together since then and I’m so excited that we are able to continue and expand our creative collaboration with these new pieces,” Cathari said.

The collection will be available on the adidas webstore, adidas Originals stores, and select retailers.
