Kanye West's New 'Jesus Is King' Merch Makes a Bold Religious Statement
Featuring many depictions of Jesus Christ.
Kanye West has released a selection of new merchandise — including hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, T-shirts and shorts — for his recently released album, Jesus Is King. The pieces, designed by A$AP Mob’s creative collective AWGE, take the album’s religious theme to the next level with bold graphics of Jesus Christ, crosses and saints.
YEEZY garments serve as the base of each piece. Crewnecks come in two styles, the first printed with Renaissance depictions of saints underneath a gold cross and “Jesus Is King” lettering. The second comes in black and white colorways and features a rainbow cross on the front and back, as well as, Jesus Christ on both sleeves. A black hoodie features the same rainbow cross and adds text to the back reading “IF THE WORLD HATED YOU KEEP IN MIND THAT IT HATED ME FIRST.” T-shirts, sweatpants and shorts are all printed with Christ graphics, as well as references to West’s Sunday Service.
