'Friends' Props and Costumes to Be Auctioned for Charity for Its 25th Anniversary
Including the iconic Central Perk couch and Monica’s yellow door picture frame.
In celebration of Friends‘ 25th anniversary, Warner Bros.‘ iconic TV show‘s props, costumes, studio-edition authorized reproductions, set decoration and production materials will be auctioned off in partnership with the Prop Store and Giving Tuesday. According to the entertainment company’s press release, proceeds from the auction will be going to The Trevor Project – the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for young people in the LGBTQ+ community.
Loyal fans of the show will see the likes of familiar items like the iconic studio-edition authorized reproduction Central Perk couch, Joey’s original Hugsy doll and even a replica of the classic yellow door picture frame. Global bidding commences at Giving Tuesday’s website on December 3 until December 17. Fans can now sign up for the auction at Prop Store’s website where each member will be eligible to win a production script from Friends.
