GANNI's Pre-Fall 2020 Collection Is Fit For a Prairie Rodeo
27 percent of the range was made from recycled and organic material.
Copenhagen-based label GANNI, which recently launched its own clothing rental service, has released the lookbook for its Pre-Fall 2020 collection. Inspired by the energy of summertime, the new offerings feature western detailing and multiple iterations of the prairie dress, the Victorian-meets-rodeo silhouette that has become a fashion set favorite.
“The collection is about being on a summer high…Everything is chaotic but energizing at the same time. That’s what I was chasing with this collection,” Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup said. Standout pieces include studded denim separates, a patchwork leather shift dress layered over a leather shirt and smock prairie dress featuring an oversized pointed collar.
Footwear elevates the cowboy boot in croc-embossed leather and takes the kitten heel to a ladylike extreme with oversized bows. The brand continues its eco-friendly efforts by using 100 percent recycled polyester and GOTS-certified organic cotton throughout the new collection.
GANNI’s Pre-Fall 2020 collection will launch May 2020. Take a sneak peak in the gallery above.
