Kanye West fans are in luck — the YEEZY 500 High “Slate” is set to drop this week, accompanied by additional sneaker releases from adidas. You’ll also be able to get your hands on BAPE‘s unlikely collaborative collection with Care Bears, Vetement’s 44-piece Star Wars inspired range and the punk-infused HYSTERIC GLAMOUR x X-Girl collection. Keep reading for the rest of this week’s releases.

Alexander Wang x adidas Originals “Season 6” Collection

Release Date: December 14
Release Price: TBD, available online from adidas and Alexander Wang as well as in-store at both brand’s flagship locations.

Ending the duo’s multi-season-long partnership, Alexander Wang and adidas’ “Season 6” Fall/Winter 2019 collection is full of directional athleisure. Inspired by Internet hacker culture, the range sees technical fabrics and futuristic silhouettes in the form of outerwear, separates and sneakers. Highlights include a silver sports bra and bike short set, a high-cut bodysuit and sock-style sneaker-boot adorned with zig-zag hiking laces.

Blondey McCoy x adidas Superstar

Release Date: December 14
Release Price: $110 USD, available at adidas’ website.

Skateboarder and model Blondey McCoy has teamed up with adidas for a clear version of the brand’s Superstar sneaker. Constructed of a transparent upper overlaid with adidas’ signature Three Stripes, the shoe features Blondey’s name printed in gold on the lateral. Its release will be accompanied by a trio of knee-high statement socks to show off while wearing the sneaker.

BT21 x Anti Social Social Club

Release Date: December 14
Release Price: TBD, available exclusively in-store at LINE FRIENDS Los Angeles and New York.

BTS‘ merchandise brand, BT21, will release a collection of streetwear staples with Anti Social Social Club. Printed with BT21’s LINE FRIENDS animated characters including Mang, Koya, Tata, Cooky, Shooky, Chimmy, RJ and Van, the range will be released exclusively at LINE FRIENDS’ Los Angeles and New York Stores. Only 300 pieces will be stocked at each store and customers are limited to purchasing three pieces.

Care Bears x BAPE Collection

Release Date: December 14
Release Price: TBD, available at select BAPE stores.

Nostalgia, kitsch and streetwear merge with the Care Bears x BAPE collection, a candy-colored range of hoodies, T-shirts and sweatpants printed with the cuddly children’s cartoon. Featuring a pastel version of BAPE’s signature camouflage along with BAPE-branded bears, the collaboration is a joyful and stylish trip down memory lane. Baby Milo even gets the Care Bears treatment in the form of an adorable stuffed animal wearing a miniature-sized hoodie from the collection.

YEEZY 500 High “Slate”

Release Date: December 16
Release Price: $220 USD, available at adidas’ website, select retailers and YEEZY SUPPLY.

Kanye West and adidas Originals’ YEEZY 500 High “Slate” will finally drop after Kourtney and Kim Kardashian teased an on-foot look at the shoe back in October. The hefty sneaker-boot hybrid swaps out the mesh paneling of previous YEEZY 500 High styles for navy blue neoprene. An off-white adiPrene midsole maintains the shoe’s futuristic silhouette and contrasts with the shoe’s upper. Black rope laces finish off the sneaker.

Star Wars x Vetements Collection

Release Date: December 16
Release Price: TBD, available online at SSENSE and in-store at The Webster (U.S.), Harrods (UK) and Flannels (UK).

Set to release three days before the premiere of Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, Vetements’ latest is a 44-piece collection inspired by the iconic Star Wars films. Images of the range have not been released, but prospective shoppers can expect to see women’s and men’s logo T-shirts, oversized hoodies, socks, caps, backpacks, evening dresses and high heels included.
