Disney Just Unveiled New Cast Photos to Get You Hyped for 'The Lion King'
Featuring Beyoncé with Nala, and Donald Glover with Simba.
While the premiere for its live-action remake of The Lion King approaches, Disney has released a set of images featuring the cast and movie characters for its fans. Take a look at these striking images featuring stars like Beyoncé and Donald Glover.
Originally revealed back in 2017, the cast includes Beyoncé with Nala and Donald Glover with Simba. Alfre Woodard will be starring as Simba’s mother, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Shahadi Wright Joseph as young Nala, JD McCary as young Simba, Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen and John Oliver as Timon, Pumbaa and Zazu, and Eric André, Florence Kasumba and Keegan-Michael Key as hyenas Azizi, Shenzi and Kamari. The upcoming film, directed by Jon Favreau, will also include a new song by Beyoncé as well as a new track by the original soundtrack team of Elton John and lyricist Tim Rice, with a score composed by Hans Zimmer.
