MAC's New Revolutionary "Love Me" Lipstick Collection

Love at first swipe.

Just when you thought the iconic mattes were irreplaceable, MAC Cosmetics has launched a revolutionary cream formula in its new “Love Me” lipstick collection representing a remarkable innovation in sensation, application and wear.

Not only does the new formula come with a light comfortable texture, but it also delivers an intense color and soft shine with all-day moisturization with just one swipe. With the collection’s game-changing True-Color Gelled System, ultra-refined pigments are able to disperse evenly in a translucent gel matrix, yielding a bright and smooth finish on your lips.

“This season, the backstage lip was nothing but lush. To get there, it’s no longer about just a single lip swipe, but rather a crafted lip—emboldening the feature by using pencils and even glosses to amplify contrast,” says Chantel Miller, New York-based MAC Director of Senior Artists. “Love Me lips are the colors we have lust for—its single-swipe sex appeal plays a critical role in the lip of the season. Best used straight from the tube, on top of Prep + Prime Lip to build that coverage in double time and then perfectly lined and glossed.”

Six sensational ambassadors are supporting this launch and will be sharing their most unique self-love stories during the campaign as they are the embodiment of self-empowerment, joy and zest for life who have constantly been able to powerfully express themselves through their platforms. These beautiful individuals include Maxine Ashley, Rina Sawayama, Halima, Amber Wagner, Harper Watters and Frances O’Sullivan.

The line features four different color ranges: 24 WAYS TO LOVE ME comes in three soft and creamy color families, SHAMELESS NUDES consists of flattering universal neutrals, POWERFUL REDS for the fiercer and bolder look and HIGH-IMPACT PURPLES with a lineup of ostentatious orchids, loud-mouth mauves and vivid violets.

All shades will be available on August 1 online and in select MAC locations.
