
MTV VMAs Announces New Categories and the Red Carpet Pre-Show Performers
Vote for your favorite groups like BLACKPINK and BTS on IG Stories now.
MTV has just announced the performers for its 2019 VMAs red carpet pre-show airing on August 26 featuring acts like Ava Max, CNCO and Megan Thee Stallion. The pre-show will be hosted by Terrence J and Nessa with special correspondent Zara Larsson. In addition, the “2019 Push Artist of the Year” award will be presented by the former winner, Hayley Kiyoko.
This year, fans can vote their favorite acts and artists in select categories including “Best Group,” “Best Power Anthem” and “Song of Summer” presented by Samsung, on MTV’s Instagram Story. Starting today, and for the next 24 hours, fans can vote by swiping up on MTV’s Instagram Story for nominees including BLACKPINK, BTS, Ariana Grande, Halsey and more:
