Eytys' New Halo Sneaker Is From Another Planet
Taking platform to a new level.
Swedish label Eytys quickly became known for its signature chunky Angel sneaker, and now it seems like the label is taking things to a whole new level – literally. In time for fall Eytys is introducing its latest silhouette, the Halo, which sports an exaggerated platform sole with a panelled upper to go with it.
As the label put it, the sneaker is a merge between “run-of-the-mill hiking shoes and late ’90s indoor trainers,” which ultimately resulted in a shoe of “otherworldly proportions.” Despite being chunky, the upper sits atop cloud-like soles that are lightweight and ideal for day-to-day wear. Arriving in three colorways, “Black,” “Off White” and “Steel Grey,” the upper is crafted from mesh, nappa and nubuck leathers to create the ultimate eye-catching texture.
