KITH Kicks off NYFW With Its Fourth Runway Show, "KITH Air"

Packed with collaborations with brands including Disney, MISBHV and more.

The now-shortened New York Fashion Week is off to a busy start with brands like KITH going “off calendar” by showing their collections the day before the official schedule. For his fourth runway show titled “KITH Air,” Ronnie Fieg introduced an array of collaborations with brands like Disney and Vogue, as well as Don Julio for an unconventional show invitation that come in the form of matte black bottles of tequila.

Made up of a mix of menswear and womenswear, the runway kicked off with cozy tonal outfits in blue and metallic tracksuits paired with a floral print shirt. Using neutral tones as an underlying color palette, shades like bright green, red and blue highlighted each item. Winnie Harlow took the stage in a red bodysuit lifted from KITH’s collaboration with MISBHV — this design also comes in green and purple iterations. Throughout the show, we also saw streetwear staples like hoodies and beanies sporting the KITH logo.

Standout looks included all-denim outfits, from jackets and jeans to bra tops which were complemented with accessories like hats. Check patterns were layered on top of each other, along with other prints such as camouflage. A range of collaborative jackets and sweatpants created with Vogue, sporting a multicolored version of the magazine’s iconic logo, were accompanied with more staple items like sweatshirts and corduroy jackets, as well as slippers. Disney’s Mickey Mouse was spotted throughout the collection on pieces like knit sweaters, denim hoodies, puffer jackets and cardigans.

Rounding off the entire collection were footwear collaborations, as models walked down the runway in classic silhouettes by New Balance and moon boots by Tecnica. Converse‘s Chuck Taylors were dressed in Mickey Mouse motifs, while guests also got a glimpse of the ASICS Gel Lyte 3.1, Timberland boots, Clarks Originals‘ Wallabees and more.
