UPDATE: Justin Bieber's 'Changes' Tour Downsizes to Smaller Venues Amid Slow Sales
Reports state that the decision was made due to worries over COVID-19.
UPDATE (March 9, 2020): Back in January, Justin Bieber announced his North American tour for his latest album, Changes. However, due to concerns over the recent coronavirus outbreak, some stadium concerts from Bieber’s tour have been scaled down to smaller venues due to slow sales.
Select arenas took to Twitter to notify fans that the show has been moved to their venue because of “unforeseen circumstances.” According to Variety, a source close to the tour claims that it was a “hard decision” to make to downsize softer markets.
The affected cities include:
June 27 Arlington, TX – AT&T Stadium moving to June 28 – American Airlines Arena
July 2 Houston, TX – NRG Stadium moving to June 27 – Houston’s Toyota Center
August 14 Cleveland, OH – FirstEnergy Stadium moving to August 14 – Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse
August 21 Landover, MD – FedExField moving to August 21 – Capitol One Arena
August 29 Detroit, MI – Ford Field moving to August 30 – Little Caesars Arena
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Justin Bieber concert at Nissan Stadium is being relocated to Bridgestone Arena.
