“Kobe will be honored the way he should be.”
As the tragic death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant continues to shake the world, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame has announced that it will posthumously induct the late Lakers player as part of its 2020 class later on this year. “Kobe will be honored the way he should be,” Hall of Fame Chairman Jerry Colangelo said, as reported by NBA journalist Shams Charania.
Fellow inductees include Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, with additional finalists to be announced on February 14 during NBA All-Star Weekend.
