Vans Elevates Four Classic Styles for Its "Stacked Pack" Collection
The Era Stacked, Sk8-Hi, Old Skool and Classic Slip-On reimagined.
Vans is not only elevating creatives around the world through collaborative efforts but also – literally – elevating their own time-honored shoe silhouettes a couple of inches upwards. The brand has kicked off the New Year by bringing back the “Stacked Pack”, this time jostling with four Vans’ Classic styles in a very heritage-centric way.
The latest installment to the Stacked line sees the reworking of the Era Stacked, Sk8-Hi, Old Skool and Classic Slip-On models. Vans has jazzed up each silhouette by playing with the construction of the midsole platforms and by throwing in dribs and drabs of their brand’s iconic Checkerboard pattern onto the shoes’ uppers. The Era Stacked is an elevated rendition of the original silhouette, coming with an exaggerated platform, rubber on the toe’s bumper and heel counter and sitting atop a sawtooth outsole. The Classic Slip-On sees a complete all-over reworking of the heritage print sitting pretty on a two-inch platform, and the Sk8-Hi and Old Skool are given suede uppers and full-grain leather side stripes, as well as, of course, the overstated outsole.
