UPDATE (October 19, 2020): Last week, Ariana Grande surprised fans on Twitter when she announced that her sixth studio album will be out this month. Continuing to tease her new music, the singer has now launched an official countdown to her upcoming releases.

Over the weekend, the singer tweeted the link to her website, directing fans to a black screen with two live countdown clocks below the word “POSITIONS.” Fans can possibly expect the lead single of Ari’s new album to drop on October 23, and the full album on October 30.

No other details have been disclosed yet, so stay tuned while we wait for more information.

ORIGINAL STORY (October 14, 2020): Ariana Grande just took to Twitter to reveal when her next album will be coming out. In a now-viral tweet, the princess of pop writes that her upcoming release — marking her sixth studio album — will drop very soon: “i can’t wait to give u my album this month.”

The highly anticipated record will follow the artist’s critically acclaimed albums, Sweetener and thank u, next, released in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Towards the beginning of lockdown earlier this year, the singer teamed up with Justin Bieber on “Stuck with U,” with proceeds from the song and its streams benefiting the First Responders Children’s Foundation.

Most recently, Ariana has collaborated with Lady Gaga on the summer bop “Rain On Me” — the duo even delivered an epic live performance of the Chromatica track at the MTV VMAs in August.

With her forthcoming full-length project, Ariana is set to unveil her first new solo material in over a year. Stay tuned for further updates.
