Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals' Upcoming NMDs Boast Chinese and Korean Characters

Find out what both embroideries translate to in English.

Shortly after unveiling their basics collection, Pharrell Wiliams and adidas Originals are set to release another collaborative NMD silhouette. The blue-green iteration features an embroidered Korean word “인종,” which means “ethnicity.” As for the white pair, the sneaker comes with the Chinese saying “人類” that translates to “humanity” in English.

Both silhouettes are constructed out of premium knitted materials and are equipped with BOOST midsoles. The teal shoe boasts hits of silver on the upper, while its lacing system arrives in a clean white hue for added contrast. The white model’s Chinese characters are traced with an eye-catching neon yellow rectangle, which complements the midsole’s plugs. Take a detailed look at the offerings in the gallery above.

Priced at $1,699 HKD (approximately $220 USD) each, the Pharrell Williams x adidas Originals NMD will be available to purchase on October 25 via adidas’ website and in-stores.
