
Sony's PlayStation 5 Will Come With a Dedicated Media Remote
Featuring buttons for Disney+, Netflix, Spotify and YouTube.
Back in September, Sony finally unveiled official details of its highly anticipated PlayStation 5. With the launch date fast approaching, the tech giant has revealed an additional accessory that the gaming console will come with.
Introducing the Media Remote, the device will have dedicated buttons for Disney+, Netflix, Spotify and YouTube, while Apple TV and Twitch will also be supported. In addition, all popular entertainment apps from the PlayStation Store will be available at the new space shortly after the release, including Amazon Prime Video, MyCanal, Hulu, Peacock and more. Sony’s PS5 will be available in the U.S., Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea on November 12. The rest of the world will receive a later drop date of November 19.
