Norway’s Rising Artist girl in red Readies for Christmas With Single, “two queens in a king sized bed”

A name to watch who has amassed more than half a billion streams this year alone, girl in red has now dropped a new single for Christmas, titled “two queens in a king sized bed.” The latest release follows up on the artist’s previous track “rue.”
“two queens in a king sized bed/there’s no mistletoe above our heads/but i’ll kiss you anyway/on christmas day,” the singer, whose real name is Marie Ulven, sings atop a soft, festive tune. “[I was] reminiscing about a Christmas I had with a person I love. When laying in bed glued to their body didn’t feel close enough. When we wanted every second to last forever,” the creative shares on the inspiration behind the track.
“i don’t have a lot to give/but i would give you everything/all my time is yours to spend/let me wrap you in with my skin,” the musician further delivers love-filled lyrics with jingling bells in the background. The song is accompanied by a visualizer of a small cottage lighting up the woods on a snowy day.
