Big Bang May Be Making a Comeback Early Next Year
As suggested from a financial report on YG Entertainment.
While YG Entertainment recently confirmed that G-Dragon is preparing to return as a solo act, a new financial report on the management company is predicting that Big Bang will also make a comeback early next year. The document additionally mentions a new girl group from the K-pop giant in the works.
Including information on YG’s sales thus far from names like BLACKPINK, MINO and TREASURE, the report forecasts the company’s profits for 2021. “BLACKPINK made history as the first girl group to sell over one million albums, and TREASURE is off to a strong debut with 250,000,” it comments, as it proceeds to mention the now-four-member team: “If Big Bang is able to open a tour for roughly one million fans, there’s no reason YG won’t be reaching ₩60 billion KRW (approximately $54 million USD) in operating profit in 2022.”
While not much is known just yet, YG is reportedly planning a virtual experience for fans due to the coronavirus pandemic, and Big Bang is expected to return within the first half of 2021 along with the new girl group’s debut.
