Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande and BTS Are Among the Highest-Paid Celebrities of 2020
Forbes has released its yearly ranking of the richest public figures.
Forbes has announced its annual ranking of the world’s highest-paid celebrities, who, it seems, have remained largely unaffected by the coronavirus pandemic and its devastating economic effects.
As millions of Americans struggle to make ends meet, the rich and famous are getting, well, richer and more famous. Kylie Jenner raked in $590 million USD this year (thanks to the sale of her makeup brand) while another member of the Kardashian clan, Kanye West, earned $170 million USD. The third highest-earning celeb of the year is tennis star Roger Federer ($106.3 million USD), with fellow athletes Cristiano Ronaldo ($105 million USD) and Lionel Messi ($104 million USD) following in fourth and fifth place. Also making the cut are Ariana Grande (#17 with earnings of $72 million USD), Billie Eilish (#43, $53 million USD), K-pop group BTS (#47, $50 million USD) and Naomi Osaka (#90, $37.4 million USD)
