Nike Digs Deep Into Its Archives for Hiking-Inspired Lahar Low Boots
Here’s when you can get your hands on the women’s silhouette.
Expanding its footwear offering, Nike is set to release a hiking boot inspired by the 1989 Lahar Escape design from its brand archives. The women’s exclusive Lahar Low shoe boasts a rugged look, ready for any outdoor activity.
Arriving in black and “Wheat” colorways, the silhouette features minimal design details throughout. Dressed in suede, the upper sees subtle overlays on the mudguard, heels and eyestays. A small Swoosh takes center stage on the laterals, while Nike’s logo is stitched onto the heel tab. Along with thick shoelaces and metal eyelets, the boot is complete with chunky black midsoles that see grooved textures on the outsoles. The “Wheat” iteration sports color contrast, while the black version is a tonal style.
