Treat Yourself to Takashi Murakami-Themed Afternoon Tea This Season
A takeout set that you can enjoy at home.
Following collaborations with the likes of PORTER and J Balvin, Takashi Murakami has now transferred his iconic characters onto delectable snacks for an afternoon tea set. Previously available on-site at Tokyo‘s Grand Hyatt hotel, the sweets now arrive as take-out boxes in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
In the convenience of your home, you can enjoy this snack box created by an award-winning pastry team from the hotel’s Fiorentina Pastry Boutique. Murakami’s colorful flower motifs are seen on 11 types of cookies, sweets and scones, as well as four savory pieces. Highlights include a fromage blanc mousse and cream puff shortcake, along with a black truffle tortilla wrap and foie gras French toast. The double-layer box is packaged in an exclusive purple wrapping cloth emblazoned with Murakami’s designs.

Those looking to try the afternoon tea, which is limited to 20 per day, will have to book at least two days before picking it up at a designated reception table through January 31.
