Lauren Tsai of 'Terrace House' Is Shiseido's Newest Ambassador
At only 21 years old, she boasts quite an impressive list of achievements.
Lauren Tsai, the illustrator and model who rose to mainstream fame after appearing on Japanese reality show Terrace House, can now count a Global Ambassadorship with Shiseido among her accomplishments. The Boston-born 21-year-old announced the news on Instagram, excitedly captioning a video of her in the brand’s Alive With Beauty campaign: “I’m so thrilled to announce that I am now a global ambassador for Shiseido!! I remember saving up all my money for their products in middle school and since I started modeling in Japan at age 16, I dreamed of one day being in a Shiseido campaign,” she said.
Tsai also boasts a substantial role in the third season of Legion, the FX series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, and is set to join the cast of Amy Poehler’s upcoming Netflix film Moxie. Tsai joins a line of distinguished Shiseido ambassadors including Grand Slam tennis champion Naomi Osaka, Chinese actor Zhang Ziyi and Japanese dancer Koharu Sugawara.
