Cj Hendry to Release Limited-Edition Petal Etchings

In celebration of her upcoming EPILOGUE exhibition, Cj Hendry is set to drop her latest series of petal etchings featuring hyper-realistic representations of flower petals. Showcasing her talent in transforming a classic historical art motif into “its own mini sculpture,” Hendry’s flower imagery boasts highly-detailed techniques that come to life on paper.
The limited-edition prints come with 10 different types of petals made from pearl color heat press on paper. Hendry explains the concept behind her latest pieces saying: “I’ve always wanted to make a piece that didn’t have any color and these etchings are the result. A copper plate has been cut and tooled then heat pressed onto cotton paper leaving an embossed imprint of the petal drawing, finally layered with a pearl foil.”
Originally set to open to the public from April 3 to 12 in East London, Hendry’s EPILOGUE exhibition has been postponed to a later date. Stay tuned while we wait for more updates. The artist’s petal etchings will be available to purchase via Cj Hendry’s website for $595 USD on April 10 at 6 p.m. EST.
