Up-and-Coming Korean Designer SU GI Unveils Wedding-Themed FW20 Lookbook

Focusing on the slogan “Something Unbalanced Generates Ingenuity.”

Creating garments under the slogan “Something Unbalanced Generates Ingenuity,” SU GI is a designer on the rise in the Korean fashion industry. The creative recently revealed a full look at her Fall/Winter 2020 range featuring structured tailoring with mixed materials and silhouettes.

Designed around three focal pillars — women, Asia and faith – visuals for the latest lookbook are set in a wedding theme. Featuring a couple standing in front of a floral backdrop, models are seen wearing items inspired by what guests may wear to a wedding. Led by a quilted white dress and black suit, the collection is highlighted with splashes of bold red on short-sleeved shirts and dresses paired with thigh-high boots. SU GI’s signature aesthetics are spotted on oversized tailored suits, as well as shirts with cut-out details at the chest. Additional pieces finishing off the lookbook are faux fur coats, graphic tees and bleached tops.

Scroll through the gallery above for a full look at SU GI’s FW20 range and head over to the label’s official website to learn more.
